International exchange hosted by HM Coastguard and organised with the support of the IMRF
This week marked the conclusion of a remarkable international exchange hosted by HM Coastguard and organised with the support of the International Maritime Rescue Federation (IMRF), in which our co-founder Arthur Barbier had the privilege to participate.

Over the past few days, participants had the opportunity to discover different ways of organising and conducting Search and Rescue operations, exchange operational perspectives, and learn from the experience of partners coming from different SAR systems.

It was a powerful example of international collaboration, demonstrating how much can be gained by sharing operational practices, techniques and lessons learned.

At Global SAR Hub, we were also pleased to contribute to these discussions by sharing a global perspective on SAR and the various operational approaches observed across different regions of the world.

A sincere thank you to IMRF and HM Coastguard for making this exchange possible.

Special thanks as well to Jaakko Heikkilä and Casey Foot for organising and facilitating such a valuable initiative.

It was a real pleasure to collaborate and exchange with Maria Heldt, Jason Whelehan, Michael Harrigan and Szymon Sprada, and to continue strengthening the global SAR community together.
