Miami — Today, Global SAR Hub had the honour of presenting its vision and operational tools during the ongoing Regional Caribbean Search and Rescue Workshop in Miami, represented by its co-founders Arthur Barbier and Tanguy Le Coq.
We would like to sincerely thank Maritime and Coastguard Agency and the UK Government for this invitation and for providing a high-level forum dedicated to strengthening Search and Rescue capabilities and cooperation across the Caribbean and Central America.
During today's session, Global SAR Hub shared its core approach: solutions designed by SAR operators, for SAR operators, built directly from real operational experience.
The presentation covered:
• SARCHAT, our secure SAR messaging and coordination platform, enabling real-time collaboration, shared mapping, multilingual communication and satellite data integration.
• CLEAR 406, our COSPAS-SARSAT beacon alert processing tool, already deployed in over 70 SAR centres worldwide, significantly reducing analysis time and interpretation errors.
• ARTAN Lite, a SAR operation management tool designed to reduce cognitive workload, structure coordination and ensure full operational traceability in line with IAMSAR/ICAO principles.
• OMNISAR, our upcoming unified SAR platform currently in R&D, aiming to bring together messaging, beacon analysis and operational management within a single modular environment, always supporting — never replacing — human decision-making.
• Global SAR Hub Academy, our progressive training approach combining e-learning and realistic scenarios, co-built with organisations and adapted to local and regional practices.
The discussions so far highlight the importance of international cooperation, interoperability and shared operational culture in Search and Rescue.
We look forward to continuing the workshop over the coming days and to further exchanges with SAR professionals, administrations and partners from across the region.
Together, we will make a difference.
